How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Check1 Make sure that the printer is turned on. Check2 Make sure that the Wi-Fi lamp is lit on the front side of the printer. If the Wi-Fi lamp is off, Wireless LAN is inactive. Start by checking your hardware

If you`re using a wired printer, make sure that the printer cable is properly connected from the printer to your PC. For wireless printers, check the wireless connection. Make sure the printer`s wireless option is turned on and available.

Check all cable connections (including the power cord) on the printer side. If the printer does have power and you`ve properly connected the communication cable, but the printer is still not recognized, try switching to a different USB port on the PC.
The printer driver may not be installed correctly. Uninstall and re-install the printer driver. – Make sure that there is a direct connection between the printer and USB port of the computer. Reboot the computer with the printer`s USB cable unattached and reconnect the cable once the computer has restarted.
On most modern computers, you can use a tool called netstat to list the devices on your network. On Windows, type “cmd” in the search box on the Start Menu or task bar, then click the icon to load the Windows command prompt. Type “netstat” to list active connections, which may include your printer.
RESET THE PRINTER

Switch the printer on and unplug the cable completely, both the USB connection on the device and the plug to the power socket. Wait for at least a minute. c. Reconnect the cable and plug it to the power source.

The printer must be plugged in, powered on, and within range of the wireless network. Moving the printer or router even a few feet can disrupt the Wi-Fi connection between the two, especially if there are walls, supports, or metal filing cabinets in the vicinity.

Canon Pixma iP3000 "Open door" Error code.

Best way to clean the heads is to run hot tap water into the screens and then flip it over and run the hot water on the heads. Repeat a few times until the water runs clear.
