How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

It`s usually because the printhead inside your printer is clogged or dried out. Like with most printers, Canon printheads can clog due to ink or dust drying up and collecting in the nozzle.
Setting Your Printer

Choose “Printing Preferences” from the pop-up menu, then look at the setup options your print driver provides. Usually, there will be one called “Layout” or “Page Layout.” Once you`ve clicked “Layout,” you should have the option to manually set your margins to zero.

The printer defaults to PGBK for text, lines etc – unless it thinks they are part of a photo. So, you can force a Canon printer to use BK ink instead of PGBK by telling it that you are printing a photo onto plain paper.
Check the ink levels

Sometimes, the printer may not print black ink because it is low or empty. You can check the ink levels on the printer`s display, or by using the software that came with your printer. If the ink level is low, replace the cartridge or refill it according to the manufacturer`s instructions.

If your PC or the LCD screen on your printer is telling you that your ink cartridges are full but no ink is passing through to the paper, then it`s most likely that you are dealing with a clogged printhead. Blurry documents and images that appear faded are also signs that it`s time to remove the excess ink.
Clean the print head, if necessary. Make sure the paper size, orientation, and layout settings in your printer software are correct. Make sure your document does not contain blank pages. If your printer software has a Preview option, you can check for blank pages before you print and remove them, if necessary.
There are numerous possible causes for a printer that`s randomly producing blanks. The most common ones are empty ink cartridges, improper cartridge installation, and congested nozzles. Driver and software issues can sometimes cause this problem as well.
Reasons for Printer Not Printing Whole Page Problem

1: Firstly, you need to check that is there is paper in the tray. 2: Check the ink or toner cartridges and ensure it shouldn`t remain empty. 3: The USB cable should be plugged inappropriately. 4: The printer should be connected to Wi-Fi.

BK triangle is for the black ink cartridge, the OP can confirm.
From the Control Panel, select Printers and Devices and then Printers. Go to Quality Option and then check the box on Grayscale. Click on OK to set printing to Black & White.
Ink cartridges can dry out over time. If they are sitting in your machine for an extended period, they will eventually dry up and become unusable. The simplest way to combat this problem is by printing more frequently or running regular cleans and ink tests to ensure the nozzles remain clean.
Verify the ink cartridge(s) is inserted properly. Some cartridges snap in place, and if they are not inserted fully, the printer won`t print anything. If a lever is moved from its original position to allow for installation of ink cartridges, ensure it is returned to its original position.
Click the start menu and search for `Devices and Printers`. Select devices and printers in the search bar. This will allow you to see the printers connected to the computer. Click the printer you want to check, and you`ll see the ink levels at the bottom of the devices and printers section.
Issue. When the message “Ink absorber full.” is displayed, the printer stops printing and needs ink absorber replacement. Push the power button to turn OFF the printer, and then contact the service center for replacement. Request either Canon or the dealer you purchased the machine for a repair service.
If your Canon printer isn`t recognising a compatible ink cartridge, this may be because the data on the cartridge chip is stamped with an empty status before it was remanufactured. Hold down the stop / cancel button for 5 seconds to bypass the `ink has run out` message and your cartridge should work.
