Press and hold the “Power” button and reconnect the power cord. When the printer comes on, release the button. Wait five seconds and push the “Power” button again. This resets the printer`s internal memory and overrides the “Ink Absorber Full” error code.
Just above the circuit board on most printer cartridges, you`ll find a small button. You`ve seen these tiny buttons before on cell phones, phone chargers, etc. This is your reset button, and the only way to get in there is either with a paper clip or the tip of a pen (which will leave a tiny ink smudge on the button).
These ink absorbers are used to hold ink after it has been purged from the print head during the print head cleaning cycles. They can hold enough ink to last the normal expected life of the machine. In order to clear this message the ink absorbers inside the machine must be replaced.
The error “Ink Absorber Full” means that the internal ink absorber or flushing box will need to be replaced. The need to replace these items and the time period before replacement is dependent on the number of purges and flushes required to clean the ink system.
A reset button disconnects the chip from printer temporarily. It makes the printer thinks you removed and reinserted the cartridge.
Ink absorber absorbs the ink used when Cleaning is executed. In order to maintain the best printing, the ink used when Cleaning is absorbed into the ink absorber inside the printer. The ink absorber requires the replacement when it is full. However, it cannot be replaced by yourself.
Epson, Brother and Canon all offer products which can produce water-resistant photo printing with an inkjet system, with some offering water-resistant inks or pigmented inks to help provide protection.
You have the option of disposing of your existing cartridge and replacing it with a new one, but the far most cost-effective option is to empty this waste toner cartridge yourself. Below, we`re going to step you through how you can save on your printing expenses by handling this process yourself.

Canon PIXMA MP800 Error 6A00
ANSWER : I also had the 6A00 Error on my aging MX7600. The pushing-the-sponge-down trick did not work for me. What finally did work involved a part just to the right of the sponges that the print head parks over. Its a white plastic piece, Mine was stuck in a forward position. After much poking around in there, I realized that this piece can slide toward the rear of the machine. And for me, that was what had to happen to get past the error message. Just pushed it toward the rear as far as it would go, slide the print head back in place and it finally started up normally again. I hope this helps anyone out there who might still have one of these still working.
