Verify the network devices and connection cables on the network (only for a wired connection). The network devices and connection cables on the network where your PC and the Brother machine are connected may not work correctly. Verify the Link LED of your router or hub to make sure they work without any problems.

Select Create a new port and choose Standard TCP/IP Port, then click Next. Under Hostname or IP address: Type in the IP address of the printer you intend to connect to.

Click on “Wi-Fi network” in the taskbar. Select the network you`re connected to. Click on “Properties.” Scroll down to the bottom of the window — your IP will be shown next to “IPv4 address.”

Click the Start menu. Click [Devices and Printers]. If [Devices and Printers] is not displayed, click [Control Panel] – [View devices and printers].
