How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

– If the grinding or clicking noise occurs, the toner cartridge is the cause. The toner (TN720 or TN750) will need to be replaced to resolve this issue.
A clicking sound may occur if the stirring spring assembly inside the Toner Cartridge catches on a rib within the cartridge, preventing the stirring spring and its gear from turning. The resulting click is caused by the drum`s toner drive gear slipping against the stirring spring gear on the Toner Cartridge.
If the spool of thread or spool cap is not positioned correctly, the thread may become tangled. – This causes the needle to come in contact with the outer rotary hook which causes the clicking sound and possibly break the needle. 2. The upper thread path may be threaded incorrectly.
A worn out bearing will generate a noise, such as a rumbling, howling, grinding or growling sound and it can also have play in it, causing a vibration. To check and replace the bearings, remove the wheel cover and the handle. Remove the gear box assembly from the grinder.
One of the most common causes of extruder clicking is related to temperature settings. If the print temperature is too low, unmelted filament will start to clog the nozzle and prevent consistent filament feeding. Increase the print temperature gradually to see if it helps.
A faulty or broken water inlet valve often causes a clicking sound that`s a little like the noise made by an old movie projector. These valves can sometimes get rusty or blocked with lint and other debris. You can usually tell if the inlet valve is faulty because the washing machine won`t fill with water.
Common causes of Sewing Machine Grinding are: Incorrect Thread Tension. Insufficient Thread Tension. Clutch Setting.
Linishers and bench-mounted grinders can produce noise levels of around 88-95dB(A) and hand held angle grinders (figure 2) can produce noise levels around 90-115dB(A). Below are examples of risk control measures you can use to control noise from grinders.
If you continue to encounter filament grinding, try to increase the extruder temperature by 5-10 degrees so that the plastic flows easier. You can do this by clicking “Edit Process Settings” and selecting the Temperature tab.
One of the things I look for is if you pull the print head a good ways off the bed and have it extrude. It should just squirt plastic straight down. If it bends sharply in one direction, or even curls back on itself, then that is a sign of damage.
The noise you are describing could be the carriage sticking or a small piece of debris inside the unit. You could go thought each of these documents step by step to clean out your printer to see if it resolves the issue.
You`ll know the drum is dirty if you notice that the print quality has become blurry and features blank spots or oddly-colored spots despite having full toner cartridges. Horizontal lines across the printout when the paper passes over a dirty area are another sign that it`s time for some maintenance.
In compressors, the grinding noise is caused by the pistons that compress the refrigerant gas. They make this noise when the compressor is worn out, which means that you may need the compressor replaced entirely, and sometimes it means that it`s time to replace your entire air conditioning unit.
