A: The letters “HL” are a Brother line of laser printers. The letters “DW” mean that the printer can print duplex and connects wirelessly. Brother Customer Service.

You may see a “printer offline” error if your computer can`t communicate with your printer. This can be caused by loose cable connections or an outdated printer driver or operating system.

Right-click the icon for your Brother machine > See what`s printing > Printer > Use Printer Offline (removes the checkmark). If Use Printer Offline is gray out, click Open As Administrator.
