How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

This issue is usually caused by foreign material inside the machine (paper dust, glue from labels or envelopes, paper clips, staples, etc.) sticking to or damaging the surface of the drum. This is typically resolved by cleaning and/or replacing the drum unit.
Make sure the correct margins have been set in the Printer Setting Tool (refer to the Online User`s Guide) or your application. Adjust the left margin as needed. Make sure the application, the printer, and the printer driver have been set to match the paper size of the paper that is loaded in the printer.
Streaking is usually caused by a worn out drum unit or spent toner cartridge. Drum units are a consumable and only need to be replaced after the use of 3 or 4 toners. Not all printers use a separate toner and drum unit.
This happens when the rollers or the transfer belt inside the printer get dirty or covered in excess dirt, ink or toner powder, and as the paper is moved through the printer the `tracks` are being left on the page. This is normally the case when the tracks on the page are located at either end.
Check the Margin settings under File>Page Setup to make sure that the right margin is OK. Also check the paragraph format to make sure that you do not have a negative right indent which could be causing the text to extend into an area that is unprintable by your printer.
This will likely be caused by the Page Setup settings. … it will set a wide margin, to cope with a worst case. If you specify your own printer you will get correct margins for that printer. If you are scripting the print/save, then before the Print step, include Page Setup and specify the printer you intend to use.
A cartridge may be running out of ink even if the graphic shows ink remaining (see the note at the start of this section). Lines or streaks always appear in printouts when the cartridges begin to run out of ink. Replace print cartridges that are out of ink or low on ink.
Conclusion. If your laser printer is causing horizontal black lines you either have a problem with the optics or the drum. Cleaning the optics and replacing the drum should fix the problem in most cases.
A printing defect characterized by elongated blotches of ink in non-image areas, commonly caused by mechanical problems with the press, such as damaged rollers (in lithography), or by improper wiping of a gravure cylinder by the doctor blade (due to dried ink fragments attached to it, or other such problems).
There are four primary causes for horizontal banding on prints from inkjet printers, (1) nozzle clogs, (2) mis-aligned print heads, (3) low quality print settings (4) incorrect paper thickness settings. Below we will describe each of these causes for horizontal banding as well as ways to try and fix them.
Partial prints are a common issue with printers and there are several main reasons it can occur: Problem with the print spooler (on Windows PCs) Overload of the GPU on later model Macs. Dodgy USB cord.
Keeping up a Snapstreak not only relies on you but also your friend. If you snap your friend and within 24 hours that friend doesn`t snap you back, well, then you`ve lost your streak. You`ll know your Snapstreak is about to end when you see an hourglass emoji next to the friend`s name you are on the streak with.
If you see the 🔥 next to your friend`s name on the Chat screen, that means you and your friend are on a Snapstreak — you and your friend have Snapped each other (not chatted) within a 24 hour window for more than three consecutive days.
Streaks and unwanted lines could mean that the printer heads are out of alignment. There`s an alignment tool in the printer`s control panel. If that`s not the issue then the printer is dirty. Printer ink stripes may appear along the edges of the paper, which means there`s ink on the rollers and other parts.
A printer printing lines on the page are normally caused by a blocked, dirty, or damaged print head. Blocked ink cartridge nozzles, or not removing protective seals correctly when you installed a new ink cartridge can also cause missing lines of print.
