There are only few printer models that can actually implement this function. Most of these models are inkjet and multifunction devices. Laser printers seldomly support borderless printing for technical reasons.

Make sure your images are the size or slightly smaller than your paper. Custom borderless printing is not available on most printers. Check your printer specs before ordering stock.
So, short of investing in a production print machine—which may not be as unrealistic as you might think—can you achieve edge-to-edge print in your office? Yes and no. Although most modern laser printers offer full-page print options, it is not truly a full-bleed finish like from an inkjet.

Borderless printing is especially useful for printing photos, or parts of a larger mosaic like a billboard or banner. If you have a printer that supports borderless printing, you can find the borderless printing option from the printer or print properties window that appears when you are printing an image.
Can home printers print in full bleed? In practical terms, no printing equipment can actually print all the way to the edge of a sheet of paper– not your home printer, or a professional machine.
For instance, most laser printers cannot print closer to the edge of the paper than a quarter inch. Some printers require even more “dead space” at the edge of the paper. This is required because the printer uses this “dead space” to mechanically grip and guide the paper through the printer.
Print a sheet to fit the page width
On the Page Layout tab, select Page Setup. On the Page tab, select the Fit To check box. In the Page wide by box, enter 1 (for one-page wide).
Borderless windowed mode, also known as borderless fullscreen mode, combines fullscreen and windowed mode to give you the best of both worlds. The game or app you`re running will look like it`s running in fullscreen mode since it`s covering your entire screen, but it`s actually a borderless window.
If your setup only uses a single monitor fullscreen mode might be the right option, especially if you play competitive games and want the absolute best performance. If you want other applications more easily within reach, borderless windowed mode is the way to go.
If you set the games resolution to 1280*720 windowed, Borderless Gaming will follow that resolution.
Typically the paper`s same edge to edge, so in terms of printing – whether you print borderless (full bleed) or with the border, the only difference is in the amount of your photo printed on the same size sheet. Borderless printing is a useful technique to use when printing large graphics such as pop-up displays.
What is edge-to-edge printing? Edge-to-edge printing is a print style that leaves a slim border around the surface of your printed ID card. The border isn`t printed; rather it`s a small area of the card to which no print was applied.
