Power but no lights or LCD display
ANSWER : Check the connection of the formatter to the connector it slides into. If necessary remove power cord and use a flat tip screwdriver to make sure the connector is fully seated. If still no joy then check the cable going from the dc controller to the display. Make sure it is fully seated and if still no joy, then I would think the display panel needs to be replaced.

LaserJet 4 won't Power Up
ANSWER : I haven’t seen that particular behavior on that model. It either works or it doesn’t. My first choice would be the power supply.
