How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced technical support :

There are four primary causes for horizontal banding on prints from inkjet printers, (1) nozzle clogs, (2) mis-aligned print heads, (3) low quality print settings (4) incorrect paper thickness settings. Below we will describe each of these causes for horizontal banding as well as ways to try and fix them.
Go to the printer panel, click on Maintenance, then Paper Feed Adjust, then Adjust Print Quality, then select AUTO . Run another print after the pattern prints and scans. If the banding does not disappear you may have to go back through these steps and instead of AUTO, run the Manual Adjustment.
Banding happens when you do not have enough information in your file. Or you push the edits to an extreme. Avoid banding by making a well-exposed photograph and saving it as an uncompressed RAW file. To fix color banding, make subtle edits and limit how much you compress the photo when exporting as a JPEG.
Banding is caused by the harder rollers being less water-receptive than softer ones, non-alcohol solutions having a harder time adhering to their surfaces. The solution is to use softer rollers, such those possessing a durometer of 18:22.
A possible cause may be that appropriate paper is not used or the amount remaining in toner cartridges is running low.
Ever wonder why your prints sometimes appear faded or streaky? It`s usually because the printhead inside your printer is clogged or dried out. Like with most printers, Canon printheads can clog due to ink or dust drying up and collecting in the nozzle.
The band-shaped “stripes” are called “horizontal bands” or “banding.” Horizontal bands are caused by the subtle changes in the movement distance that occur when feeding the media depending on the media`s thickness. We recommend making corrections to match the media you are using.
Color banding is the unpleasant, stark lines of color that appear in your picture. This issue usually occurs in photos with sizeable mono-colored sections like for example the sky, where the transitions between different colors become abrupt, harsh, and blatant enough to be easily noticeable.
The paper type that you choose tells the printer how much ink to lay down onto the paper. When this is too little on an absorbent paper (like sublimation paper) it can cause lighter banding.
When your printer leaves black lines, the lines indicate that there are excess toner powders on the rollers or transfer belt within the printer. As the paper is moved along by the rollers and transfer belt, any excess powder left on them can result in lines being left on the paper.
White lines will typically start appearing on your print outs due to a clogged up printer head. Your first port of call when solving this problem is to run the cleaning program on your printer, which should be accessible through its settings menu.
The effect of banding appears when the transition between tones are not smooth and is enhanced with almost every additional adjustment. In areas with a lot of detail, we will not be able to recognize banding. Banding only emerges in seamless areas with similar shades of the same color.
Banding is the process of one or more product being wrapped with a thin band of paper or film. An efficient way to bundle, label or seal your products.
If your printouts are blurry or smeared, try these solutions: Make sure your paper is not damp, curled, old, or loaded incorrectly in your product. Use a support sheet with special paper, or load special paper one sheet at a time. Make sure your paper meets the specifications for your product.
Horizontal lines across prints are most commonly experienced with inkjet printers and are usually down to a partially blocked printhead. Inkjet printers from many different manufacturers are prone to this including machines by Brother, Canon, Epson, Dell, Hewlett Packard (HP), Kodak, Lexmark and many more.

Can printer cause WiFi problems?
ANSWER : It really doesn’t sound possible. Have you tried disconnecting the printer and seeing if that restores your wifi? I’ve had problems with my Internet service provider before. I found that I knew more than their techs did. The last problem I had was due to the router. They gave me a new one, but it had the same issues. I went out and bought a decent one and that fixed my problem.
