Reinstall the printer driver. The machine is offline. Right-click the printer icon to open “Printer folder”, and then select [See print jobs]. In the dialog, select the [Printer] menu and then clear the check of [Use Printer Offline].
Check that the same IP address is set for the machine and the machine`s port setting on the computer. Check that the IP address is not duplicated by another device. Check that the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address are set. If using OKI LPR Utility, check the IP address setting with OKI LPR Utility.
In the event of a 131,132, or 133 error, reseating the LED Head Ribbon cable typically resolves this issue. You want to reseat the cable ONLY when the unit is POWERED DOWN.
On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon or Wireless icon . Select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns most of the settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language.
This can be caused by an error between your device or computer and the printer. Sometimes it maybe as simple as your cable not correctly attached or a simple error coming from a paper-jam. However a printer appearing as “ Offline ” error can also be down to problems with your printer driver or software.
If your printer is showing an offline message, it means it`s having a hard time communicating with your computer. There can be several reasons for this, from connectivity issues to a fault with your printer. Whatever the reason, there are several checks you can do to determine which issue you`re facing.
Check that the same IP address is set for the machine and the machine`s port setting on the computer. Check that the IP address is not duplicated by another device. Check that the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address are set. If using OKI LPR Utility, check the IP address setting with OKI LPR Utility.
The printer displays Fatal Error 02 and a 24 digit number similar to 439834B4, 433AB434, 433AADE4 will appear, this can happen after a job using the PCL driver has been sent to the printer. Care must be taken when diagnosing this fault to disconnect the interface cable from the printer before cycling the power.
Select Start , then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners . Scroll down to Related Settings and select Print server properties. Select the Drivers tab, and see if your printer is listed. If it is, you`re all set.
1: Check Printer Power, Cables, and Paper
Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
Place the printer near the network router. Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer. From the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings. Get the network name and password.
In the Command Prompt type, net stop spooler, then press Enter to Stop the Print Spooler. In the Command Prompt type, net start spooler, then press Enter to Start the Print Spooler.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Under Add printers & scanners, select Add a printer or scanner. Choose the printer you want, and then select Add Device. If you don`t see the printer you want, select The printer that I want isn`t listed.
The reset key is a single use key and once used cannot be used again. All EPSON printers have inbuilt counters that count up the number of pages a printer produces, the number of head cleans executed and various other attributes. Once a critical level is reached the printer will enter its service mode.
Important: Resetting your PC (or using Fresh Start) will remove most of your apps, including Microsoft Office, third-party anti-virus software, and desktop apps that came pre-installed on your device. You will not be able to recover removed apps, and will need to manually reinstall these apps.
If a printer keeps going physically offline and resetting or switching itself on and off, it could be a power issue. Check the power cable and the wall outlet and change one at a time and retest. Change either the wall outlet or cable, run the printer for a while then test the other if the problem persists.
If you`re using Windows, you can check the printer offline/online status under “Devices and Printers” in your computer`s start menu. Seeing your printer listed here means it`s working fine. Once you spot it, click the printer that you are trying to use and make sure that the “Use Printer Offline” box is unchecked.
Wired Connections
Many computer connectivity issues are caused by something as simple as a loose cable. Make sure all of the cables connecting your computer to your printer are fully in place and completely fastened at both ends. If your printer is not turning on, the power cord could also be an issue.
The only permanent solution to the 0x0000011B error is to install the latest Windows Update which fixes the issue. For now, you can try uninstalling the update or disabling the problematic security feature from the Registry. Other workarounds include installing the printer manually.
To fix the error code 0x0000011b related to networked or shared printers, Microsoft says you should disable the print spooler privacy settings on both the Client PC (from which you work) and Print Server (Workstation to which the printer is attached).
