The USGS recommended a non-scratching metal polish hto remove any remaining ink. At the end of each day`s work, the plates were degreased with a small amount of dish detergent, rinsed with water, and then wiped with ethyl alcohol.
Yes, you can.
Verify the ink cartridge(s) is inserted properly. Some cartridges snap in place, and if they are not inserted fully, the printer won`t print anything. If a lever is moved from its original position to allow for installation of ink cartridges, ensure it is returned to its original position.
You can continue to print with one or more empty cartridges, but HP recommends replacing them as soon as possible to avoid printhead damage.
Take-home Message

To summarize, all (or almost all) HP`s cartridges are refillable. Not all the chips can be reset or overridden, but HP will always leave a refill solution for you.

Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.
Use an absorbent lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, to clean the electrical interconnects on both the printhead carriage and the printhead if the Reseat or Replace message persists next to the printhead on the front-panel display.
The best solvent to use is alcohol. This is commonly available as Methylated Spirits or IPA (isopropyl alcohol). Wet a piece of writing paper with the alcohol and polish the terminals gently drying with a dry piece of paper.

Error message reads remove and check right cartridge
ANSWER : You can try cleaning the contacts on the back of the cartridge and the ones that they contact in the printer. Other than that, you have to replace the cartridge. I once had one that did the same thing. I swapped the cartridge with another printer of the same model and both printers worked fine. I swapped them back and the original printer got the same error. The other printer had no problem with either cartridge. I swapped them back and left them that way.
