Clearing the error

Leave the printer powered off for ten seconds or more to give it a chance to reset. Power on the printer again. If the printer goes to the `Ready` state, try printing again. If the fuser error does not return, continue using the printer as normal.

The message `Fuser Error` or `Self-Diagnostic` means either the fuser has reached the maximum temperature allowed or there has been an error in detection of the correct temperature during specific times of the printing process.
The fuser unit or fuser is a critical part of any laser printer. Using pressure and heat, it fuses the toner powder onto the page to create a print, and without it, the printer cannot operate.
Streaking, smudging, black lines, and double images are all symptoms of a bad fuser. When you notice these printing defects and experience problems, such as paper jams or wrinkles, this is a good sign to replace the fuser kit.
Fuser Units

The coating wears off and causes the toner to not fuse properly. There are replacement rollers and sleeves on the market that you can replace and turn a non-functional fuser into a good working one. Rebuilding fuser assemblies is not a new thing.

The fuser unit must be replaced every 100,000 pages, usually along with the transfer belt and feed rollers as part of a maintenance kit. The error code 010-351 indicates that the fuser has reached 75,000 pages and as a result has 25% life or less remaining.
Examples of this error include: 920.06, 920.12, and 920.40. A 920 type error indicates that the printer registers the fuser unit (the internal heating element) as not having reached its proper operating temperature. If this is the first time a Service Fuser error has appeared on the printer, power it off.
A fuser unit is a pair of heated rollers within the printer that fuses the toner onto the paper being printed on. Toner particles are pulled to the paper to create the desired text and images as the paper passes the imaging drum.
Your printer monitors the life of your fuser. When the fuser reaches the end of its life, the printer displays 80 Fuser Exhausted. This message indicates it is time for you to replace the fuser. For best print quality, make sure you replace the fuser when the printer displays 80 Fuser Life Warning.
Make sure that both your computer and your Lexmark printer are connected to your network. Restart your printer. In some cases, a simple restart can fix the issue. Unplug the printer and check if there is any paper stuck in the machine, and if the toner is installed correctly.
After replacing all the items in the maintenance kit, reset the maintenance counter: 1 Press and hold the Select and Return buttons while you turn the printer on. 2 Release the buttons when Performing Self Test appears on the display.
Explanation. This type of error message indicates that the fuser unit inside the printer is operating below the proper temperature. If this is the first time you have seen the error. 1. Power the printer off.
Issue description

The [121.71] fuser error appears on the operator panel after the printer has been initially powered On. A “Reinstall missing or unresponsive fuser [31.80E] recommended life exceeded [80.36]” message could also appear on the printer.

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.
