An Er/04, Er/05, or Er/06 error message indicates a paper jam. Find and clear the printer of any jammed paper, or reset the printer if the printer has no jammed paper.
Er/61 displays, the Wireless button is amber, and the Cancel button is blinking. An error occurred during Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) and the printer was not able to connect to the network. to clear the error, and then try again. To clear the error manually push the UP, DOWN and PUMP buttons simultaneously, ensure the display clears before showing the temperature or error code again. If the display does not clear the reset was not executed correctly.

Manual feeding means feeding wherein the material or part being processed is handled by the operator on each stroke of the press.
Paper is improperly loaded
If you have loaded the paper too far into the printer, the printer cannot feed the paper correctly. Turn the printer off and gently remove the paper. Then turn the printer on and reload the paper correctly.
01, 61.00. 02, or 61.00. 03 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that there is an issue with the print engine. Turn the printer off, and then hold the power button for three seconds when you turn the printer on.

Depending on the setting, printed copies are fed as follows: Side 1 is the surface of the paper printed during one-sided printing, or the surface of the first print during duplex printing. Side 2 is the surface of the paper printed on the back side of Side 1 during duplex printing.
Even if the paper you select matches the printer`s recommended thickness range, adding too much or too little of it to the input tray can result in unevenly fed sheets. The rollers that move paper out of the tray function best when you maintain at least a mid-level stack but don`t exceed or undershoot the loading line.
A paper feed issue can occur for several reasons, such as dusty or contaminated paper rollers, the condition of the paper in the tray, or even issues with the software. To resolve the issue, try each solution in this document, and then use the steps in this section to print a self-test report.
Paper Feed Rollers

59.10 is a main drive error, which could be a bound up fuser. 51.10 is a laser error, which could be a bad laser unit. Which error do you have? If the printer can print an engine test, then you may have a bad formatter.

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.

Paper feeds straight through without printing on an Epson R2400
ANSWER : I was able to get it to print the internal test page by holding down the sheet paper feed button while turning the machine on — then continuing to hold the sheet paper feed button. It took several attempts, feeding a page straight through, but eventually it caught the sheet and printed. So it may be a timing issue as others have mentioned. It could still mean that the feed rollers are worn out. The back side of the large D-shaped feed roller has visible abrasion on it. The abrasion is difficult to see as the roller does not stay with the flat side exposed.

Multiple paper feed
ANSWER : Most likely the pickup roller solenoid is sticking. The way it works is the solenoid energizes, pulling down a metal plate that releases the pickup roller. There is some foam on the base to quiet the clicking sound. The foam deteriorates and the plate sticks to the gooey residue. This allows the pickup roller to continue to turn instead of stopping after one revolution when the plate springs back up. That results in multiple paper being fed. Solution is to find the solenoid, which is at the end of the pickup roller shaft. Remove the sticky foam and preferably replace it with some thin sticky backed felt. You can find it at a hardware store as it is used on the bottom of chair legs.

what does it take to fix this printer?
ANSWER : If you push the Go and Cancel buttons at the same time it will give you the secondary error lights. That tells you what component has failed. Probably the fuser.
