Printer sleep mode

Check that the printer does not have sleep mode enabled: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer Preferences. Look for an option to disable sleep or time-out mode.

The fuse protects your printer from short circuits and power overload. It is placed between the power outlet and the switch on the left side of the printer. If your machine does not start after pressing the power switch, at first you should check if the power cable is connected to a power source.

Restart the printer and the computer or mobile device to clear possible error conditions. Restore Wi-Fi setup mode. Most printers with a touchscreen display or menu: Open the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then select Restore Network Settings.
Check the printer connection status: Make sure the wireless signal is on, and the printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a light next to a Wireless icon or button , make sure the light is on. If it is off or blinks, the printer is disconnected from the network.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
Right-click the printer you want to manually enable and click Printer Properties. Under Advanced and Driver, note the name of your printer driver. Connect to your host computer and go to the manufacturer`s website of the printer driver. On the host computer, download the printer drivers associated with your printer.

Printer does not print after power off
ANSWER : Hello .. I have a problem with my HP1102w printer.. It had worked fine for a while.. But now it will not print after it shuts down.. I have reset it to factory setting,, and removed the drivers/software from my computer and reinstalled several times using the wireless install.. but everytime it will work just fine wirelessly and with the USB cord untill either I turn it off and back on or it shuts down by its self… When you try to print after it is turned back on it will not do anything.. it used to turn its self back on when I would print wirelessly but now it will not.. the blue wireless light is on lik eit is connected to the network router.. ANSWER : I have never seen a power button go bad, not that it couldn’t happen. Possible your power supply isn’t working or a board in the printer went bad.

LaserJet 4 won't Power Up
ANSWER : I haven’t seen that particular behavior on that model. It either works or it doesn’t. My first choice would be the power supply.
